CNN constantly refers to its political team as “the best political team on television”. But is it? One thing is clear it is arguably “the Worst Political Team on the Internet” . CNN’s political ticker blog is blatantly supporting the Clintons’ campaign for a 3rd term in the oval office. Trying to stoke the flames of the Jeremiah Wright dead issue is one thing but ignoring Obama’s bus tour of Pennsylvania is unforgiveable.
Even James Carville would acknowledge that the Clintons can not win the nomination unless they win in Pennsylvania. Yes it looks like a sure thing with a double digit lead for Bill and Hillary but Obama picked up a big push with the Bob Casey endorsement. And now the Obama team, the best political team in the campaign, is touring Penn in a bus with Casey aboard. Both the Philadelphia Inquirer, Obama Tour Gets Rolling, and the Pittsburgh Post- Gazette, Casey Backs Obama, Oakland rally has the flavor of a revival, Guys night: Obama, Casey visit sports bar covered the Obama tour but CNN ignored it completey in favor of Reverened Wrights appearance in a ……….. gasp church.
CNN the best political team on the internet? Not even close. The worst? Maybe, maybe.
