McCain and Bush BFF

Yesterday was the official launch of John McBush’s campaign for the presidency.

With the Dubya Face, in Israel, playing the fear card that he has used for the past 7 years to distract Americans from his war in Iraq, and his blundering incompetent handling of Katrina and the US economy, the McBush campaign is now officially underway.

The McCain Face was not far behind in a quick 1-2 from the McBush campaign.

To what depths will Joe Lieberman sink in his efforts to elect John McCain? The former Democratic party vice presidential contender and current toady for GOP presidential contender John McCain is repeating the inane GOP smear about Hamas “endorsing” Obama. Is there an element of principle in anything Joe Lieberman does?

How low will Toady Joe go?

The Clinton campaign for the Democratic nomination is over. Even Talking Skull Carville knows the math and the momentum are against her. The Clinton’s open attempt to use race to attract more white voters has discredited her, her campaign and her husband’s legacy. Superdelegates will not tie party prospects, or their own futures, to such a negative campaign.

So why is Hillary continuing? Is it the VP slot? campaign debts? to put a universal health care plank in the Democratic election platform? No, it is none of these things, Hillary can not quit because she is a prisoner of her own personality. She can not quit no matter what effect it has on her party, or family finances or the good name of her former President husband.

Fighting when you can not win AND when you have other options (US Senator is not exactly a job flipping burgers) is not admirable, it is simply irrational. Unfortunately advisers like Carville appear to lack the cajones to persuade Clinton to drop her irrational, destructive campaign.

Talking skull James Carville has been the Clintons’ campaign official trash talker. First he dumped on Bill Richardson, calling him Judas. More recently he has decided to talk about “cajones” making negative implications about the Illinois Senator who is kicking Clinton butt out the door.

After shooting off his mouth so badly will Talking Skull Carville have the “cajones” to congratulate Obama on his victory in winning the Democratic party nomination?

Apparently Hillary Clinton is clinging to her “I’m more electable” argument. But if she is more electable why is she losing so badly to Obama?

ABC News is reporting that Obama has overtaken Clinton for the lead in superdelegates. In Obama Now Takes The Lead in Superdelegates Too. ABC reports that Obama picked up two superdelegates this morning, Rep. Donald Payne, D-N.J. and Rep. Peter DeFazio, D-Ore. In Payne’s case he switched his endorsement from Clinton to Obama. Ouch. How over is over?

Wolf Blitzer allegedly wants to make the most of his Obama interview today and so he is asking for input, suggestions in what he should ask Senator Obama: Blitzer: What would you like me to ask Barack Obama?

I am guessing that after canvassing everyone’s input Wolf will ask Obama:

1) Impact of Reverend Jeremiah Wright

2) Why can’t he close the deal.

3) Why can’t he win the “big” states, states Democrats have to win etc.

4) Can Democrats win in November  if Michigan and Florida primary votes don’t count.

5) About white working class voters

6) Today’s Clinton campaign talking points

Senator Barack Obama is the Democratic nominee.

The Clintons can keep trying to get up off the canvas but the round is over, the fight is over.

Barack Obama is the heavyweight champion of the Democratic party.

Despite the Clinton News Network’s constant focus, as per the Clintons’ campaign spin, on Indiana there are actually two state primaries today. Most “analysts” are predicting a narrow win for the Clintons in Indiana and a slightly larger win for Obama in North Carolina. If these educated guesses are correct then Obama’s pledge delegate lead over the Clintons will increase today and the Dem nomination race will be over. The math will be obvious - even for Rah Rah Hillary supporter Wolf Blitzer.

North Carolina has 115 pledge delegates up for grabs compared to Indiana’s 72 pledge delegates. If the Clintons win Indiana by 10% and Obama wins NC by 10% he gets MORE delegates today then the Clintons who fall further behind. This will make it even more unlikely that Hillary can catch up mathematically. AND it will leave Hillary’s Big Momentum argument in the gutter.

It’s over for Hillary today Wolf. Get over it.
