The New York Times and Newsweek are both reporting that, contrary to John McCain’s claim Sunday night that his campaign manager Rick Davis had received no money from Freddie since 2005, his firm had actually been receiving $15,000 a month from 2005 right until last month when Freddie Mac was taken over by the government. The New York Times is reporting that Clinton fund-raisers are threatening to withdraw cash donations to the DNC unless Hillary gets her way on seating delegates from Florida.
